What you can achieve

• Development and design of components and assemblies up to series maturity
• Development of mechanical plastic solutions for our liquid handling products, especially consumables and their integration into complete systems
• Selection and evaluation of materials, manufacturing processes and design concepts
• Technical support in design, material, manufacturing and tooling issues
• Creation of the required manufacturing documents including drawings
• Procurement of components and materials for functional samples and prototypes
• Close collaboration in the interdisciplinary project team as well as with external suppliers and partners

What you bring with you

• Completed technical basic training as a designer, polymechanic or comparable
• Degree in mechanical engineering, plastics technology or comparable at FH/HF level
• Professional experience in development and design
• Profound experience with plastic components and injection moulding technology is an advantage
• Good CAD skills, ideally SolidWorks
• Hands-on mentality and enthusiasm for creative solutions and innovative products
• Good communication skills in German and English
