For a well-known banking client, we are looking for an experienced individual as a Senior Application Developer for implementation in the Investment and Pension portfolio.

Job description:

• Independent implementation of requirements from the business unit on the specified technology stack (Java Spring Backend, Angular Frontend, Azure Cloud)
• (Further) development in the Java environment, focus on backend with a good understanding of frontend development
• Close collaboration and clarifications with the business unit (client and application managers)
• Willingness to take on operational tasks (DevOps)
• Participation in agile ceremonies

About the customer:

You develop and operate modern services in the Investment & Pension area following the DevOps principle and actively drive their continuous development. As part of a large Agile Release Train (ART), you work in an agile environment according to SAFe and SCRUM and jointly create innovative solutions with your team.

Framework conditions

Headcount: 3 persons

Start: JAN 2027 (earlier or later possible)

Duration: 12 months, possible extension

Workload: 100%

Location: Zurich, 3 days/week on site

Requirements:

• 5-8 years professional experience in application development in the Java framework
• Solid education in IT (SW Engineering, Computer Engineering or similar)
• Very good knowledge of Java and Spring Boot / Hibernate
• Knowledge of Angular / TypeScript
• Quick comprehension, strong analytical thinking
• Team player with an open and communicative personality
• Interest in topics in the area of investment and pension
• Negotiation-level German skills (C2) and fluent English skills (B2)
