Workplace Engineer (m/f/d)
Our partner is an owner-managed IT service company and has been successful for over 25 years with the full spectrum of IT solutions. Tailored to public administrations, energy suppliers and SMEs in the service sector, our partner employs around 100 staff and impresses with excellent industry and technology know-how.
Role:
As a Workplace Engineer, you design modern workplace environments for different customer settings. Technologies in the field of client engineering are constantly evolving, and this is exactly where you bring in your expertise. You take responsibility in projects, think along and find pragmatic solutions. Besides the technical implementation, you appreciate direct exchange with customers.
Responsibilities:
You implement customer projects in the workplace area and accompany them from planning to completion
You operate and further develop solutions for software distribution and packaging
You contribute to advancing new technology topics in the workplace environment
You take over the management of subprojects and coordinate the implementation
You also support 2nd level support with technical queries
You continuously create and maintain technical documentation
Qualifications:
You have completed training, e.g. as an IT specialist EFZ, with several years of practical experience
You bring solid knowledge in client engineering
Practical experience with software distribution and client management, for example with Intune or comparable tools, distinguishes you
You have in-depth knowledge of Microsoft products, especially Windows as a client operating system and Microsoft 365 (M365)
Strong customer and service orientation are among your strengths
You communicate confidently in Swiss German and have good technical English skills; you also hold a driving licence and have your own vehicle
