What you can contribute to
- Plan and coordinate day-to-day business within deadlines
- Ensure administrative follow-up, control and manage double taxation agreements as well as other dossiers of Parliament and the Federal Council, and coordinate with the Federal Chancellery and other federal offices
- Ensure administrative follow-up of consultation procedures
- Receive and respond to written and telephone enquiries, or forward them to the competent person
- Keep lists of double taxation agreements up to date and update the corresponding ordinance annually
What makes you unique
- Commercial training or equivalent
- Several years of professional experience and good command of assistance tasks in tax law
- Excellent organisational skills
- Interest in flexible working methods and proficiency in the digital work environment
- Very good knowledge of two official languages and English; passive knowledge of the third official language is an advantage.
In a few words
You work at the crossroads of politics and international tax matters. As an assistant, you support the tax service in handling political dossiers and managing procedures, as well as in coordinating and organising the service’s tasks. Within a small team, you form the administrative hub of the service and thus contribute essentially to its success.

The State Secretariat for International Financial Matters (SFI) is responsible for coordinating and strategically managing financial, monetary and tax matters of international scope and defending Switzerland’s interests in these areas. It is also responsible for developing the policy and regulatory framework for financial markets and the Swiss tax location.
