As a Business Architect Life, you design the professional target architecture of a central business area of Zurich Switzerland and create the foundation for sustainable transformations.

You connect strategy, business design and implementation, ensuring that organisation, processes and capabilities are aligned to a common vision. In doing so, you collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders at the business unit level and significantly influence the further development of the Life business.

What you do

• You derive the business architecture from the Life strategy and develop target images, capability maps and roadmaps for implementation.
• You analyse and optimise the operating model and create the basis for sustainable changes in the Life business.
• You design value streams and target process landscapes for key domains such as New Business, Underwriting, Policy Servicing, Claims and In-Force Management.
• You accompany cross-departmental transformation initiatives and ensure the connection between business, architecture and delivery.
• You support strategic decisions, business cases and prioritisation taking into account regulatory and financial requirements.

What you bring

• Several years of experience as a Business Architect, Enterprise Architect or Senior Business Analyst
• Solid know-how in the Life, pension or insurance environment
• Experience in business analysis, operating model design, capability mapping and process design
• Good knowledge of relevant regulatory requirements such as Solvency II and IFRS 17
• Strong analytical skills as well as convincing communication and moderation skills in German and English
