Your tasks – versatile, responsible and varied
- Processing entries, changes and exits in your own area of responsibility
- Maintaining personnel and payroll data in the HR information system as well as managing personnel files
- Creating contracts in close cooperation with HR consultants
- Managing family and parental allowances including the preparation of decisions
- Clarifying employment law questions and providing competent information to employees and managers
- Writing recipient-appropriate correspondence and clear information materials
- Co-designing and documenting efficient HR processes together with the involved specialist departments
- Active participation in HR projects for the further development and digitalisation of personnel administration
Your profile – committed, service-oriented and pragmatic
- Commercial apprenticeship (KV EFZ) and practical experience in HR administration
- Further training in the HR field, e.g. as an HR assistant
- Independent, careful and reliable working style with a high sense of responsibility
- Networked thinking and understanding of the connections between payroll processing, social security and other HR processes
- Good self-organisation, clear prioritisation and a calm, solution-oriented working style even under high workload
- Quick comprehension as well as enthusiasm for new tasks, digital applications and changed procedures
- Service-oriented approach as well as target group-appropriate and confident communication
- Discretion, teamwork and responsible handling of confidential personnel data

Personnel Office
The Personnel Office of the Canton Basel-Landschaft is part of the Finance and Church Directorate and is responsible for the uniform and strategic alignment of HR management within the cantonal administration.
The Personnel Service Centre (DLZ) is responsible for personnel administration, HR support and payroll processing – including the accounting of social security contributions for all administrative units of the canton.
