The Special Education School Lyss is a day school for children and young people with intellectual or multiple disabilities. We teach around 115 pupils in 18 classes (from primary to upper and orientation levels) aged between 4 and 18 years.

Tasks
You promote and support pupils individually and in groups regarding language competence
You assess the need for therapy, prepare it, carry it out, evaluate and continuously review the therapy goals
You prepare specialised reports, school reports and other assessments
You maintain intensive exchange within the speech therapy team, with teachers, specialist therapy teachers, doctors and the involved system
Requirements
Recognised training in speech therapy
Enjoyment of the challenges of everyday school life in the environment of a special primary school
Resilience and positive communication skills
High ability to work in a team and willingness for interdisciplinary collaboration
