What you can contribute
- Learn to handle modern datacentre technologies (including Docker, Kubernetes, Openshift, Ansible) and become familiar with complex network, server and storage solutions and automations
- Get to know the automation of Windows and Linux platforms and the use of system management and monitoring tools
- Locate and resolve faults and performance issues in hardware and software
- Complete a series of German-language basic training courses in network and server technology (some of which are completed with recognised industry certificates)
- Learn the basic principles of cyber security and understand how Switzerland protects itself against cyber attacks
- Develop and operate solutions during practical assignments (DevSecOps) to apply what you have learned directly
What makes you unique
- Completed training as an IT specialist EFZ in platform development/application development/operational IT with 2-3 years of functionally relevant work experience, alternatively Matura or comparable training or practical experience
- Enthusiasm for complex systems made up of modern hardware and software as well as basic knowledge in the areas of network, server, storage, operating systems (Windows/Unix/Linux), virtualisation, scripting and software development
- Initial professional experience in the operation of large complex IT environments as well as in the use of system management and monitoring tools is an advantage
- Willingness to learn, enthusiasm, good comprehension, "out-of-the-box" thinking and enjoyment of teamwork

The ICT Warrior Academy is the Army's competence centre for civilian training and further education in the field of ICT and cyber.
