System Engineer IT Infrastructure (m/f/d)

Role:
An experienced System Engineer is sought to support and further develop internal IT systems as well as customer environments. The role includes operating an in-house data centre infrastructure, maintaining server and client systems, and ensuring reliable IT operations.
In addition to administrative tasks, you will handle support requests, participate in IT projects and contribute to the ongoing improvement of technical processes.
Responsibilities:
Plan, install, maintain and update internal and customer IT infrastructures
Ensure operation and maintenance of the in-house data centre environment
Carry out deployment and patch management reliably
Provide first- and second-level support for client systems, remotely and on-site
Support IT projects and optimise existing processes and workflows
Create and keep technical documentation up to date
Qualifications:
Solid professional experience in IT administration and technical support
Good knowledge of Microsoft operating systems, Hyper-V, HPE servers and Microsoft 365
Knowledge of PowerShell or another scripting language as well as SQL is an advantage
Structured, analytical and solution-oriented working style
Independence, reliability, teamwork and good communication skills
Fluent German and good English skills
