Residential Educator for Emergency Reception between 70% and 90%

The Pouponnière Foundation and the Shelter aim to work in favour of children and particularly young children and their families, notably by welcoming them within the framework of its nine institutions: five child life centres (CVE), two emergency reception residential homes, the Mother-Child Educational Reception (AEME), the Meeting Space Service Unit (UPER).

To temporarily strengthen our teams at the L'Abri and La Pyramide Residential Homes, we are looking for a period of 6 months to one year for:

Tasks and responsibilities

• Ensure the protection and well-being of a group of 10 to 12 children, aged 0 to 6 years and placed by the DGEJ or SCTP
• Welcome and support the children in their daily lives, in collaboration with the educational teams

Profile sought

• Diploma as a social educator, childhood educator, or other Bachelor or Master related to the field of activity
• Experience in educational work in residential care with children and their families
• Ability to work as part of a team in an emergency reception context
• Good personal organisation, autonomy, analytical and synthesis skills, adaptability and priority management
• Excellent listening skills and empathy
• Driving licence
• Clean criminal record
