About the job
About Us
LGT is the world’s largest private banking and asset management group owned by an entrepreneurial family. As the family office of the Princely House of Liechtenstein, we impress you with many years of experience in managing large fortunes.
Your Area of Responsibility
Your future? It doesn’t just start up sometime. It starts now.
Are you interested in computers, technology and everything that ensures systems run stably in the background? Do you want to do more than just watch, but think along, try things out and understand how IT really works in practice? Then you are exactly right at LGT.
With us, you don’t just dive into the world of IT – you become part of it. You work with modern technologies, take on responsibility and develop yourself in an exciting, international environment.
Understand more. Try more. Make more of yourself.
Your apprenticeship starts with the LGT internal basic training year in Bendern. Afterwards, there are six basic departments and many other areas you can choose from. This means for you: many insights, lots of variety and the chance to actively shape your four-year apprenticeship.
This way, step by step, you find out what suits you, what fascinates you and in which area you want to deepen your knowledge. In the fourth year of apprenticeship, you decide on your desired area and go even deeper there.
IT for us is not just technology and theory. It is thinking along, solving problems, further developing systems, working in a team and learning something new every day.
Right in the thick of it, not just at the edge of the screen
At LGT, you are not just "the IT apprentice". You are part of the team. People who take you seriously, support you and trust you accompany you from the very beginning.
Experienced practical trainers support you in everyday work, give you orientation and help you grow both professionally and personally.
What awaits you with us
Look forward to an apprenticeship that is much more than a classic entry into the IT world. You can expect varied tasks, exciting assignments in different departments of LGT IT and a strong network with over 40 trainees and interns.
In addition, there are apprentice meetings, training camps, joint learning with other IT apprentices and many opportunities to develop further – during the apprenticeship and beyond.
Your Profile
You are curious, motivated and eager to really understand technology. You are interested in computers and digital systems, enjoy logical thinking and actively tackle problems.
If you also bring good performance from secondary school in Liechtenstein or lower secondary school in Switzerland – especially in mathematical subjects – and enjoy learning new things and helping to shape them, you should definitely apply.

Just send us:
- your letter of motivation
- your CV
