IT Operations Engineer (m/f/d)

Responsibilities:
You ensure the reliable operation of the server, storage, and backup infrastructure and manage solutions based on VMware, HPE Morpheus and Veeam
You administer Windows and Linux servers as well as cloud resources in Microsoft Azure and AWS
You manage the workplace environment and are responsible for tasks related to user administration and Microsoft 365
You handle incidents and changes and support employees in 1st and 2nd level support
You participate in the configuration and management of firewalls and network components
You take responsibility for internal IT projects and coordinate their implementation
You further develop internal IT management tools and contribute your own improvement suggestions
You plan and accompany releases of new operating and standard software
You support the implementation of information security measures and vulnerability management within the IT infrastructure
Qualifications:
You have completed training as an IT specialist EFZ platform development or have a comparable qualification
You have good knowledge in the administration of Microsoft server and client environments as well as Windows operating systems
You are familiar with server services, virtualisation, and Microsoft 365
Ideally, you have already had contact with cloud services, firewall technologies, and networks
You work independently, solution-oriented, and with initiative
You are willing to learn and enjoy continuously expanding your technical knowledge
You have a strong customer and service orientation
You are willing to occasionally take maintenance windows outside regular working hours
You hold a category B driving licence
You communicate well in German and English, both orally and in writing
