An established company is seeking a specialist in IT system engineering. In this role, you will manage the existing IT infrastructure and ensure reliable operation of the systems together with internal teams and external partners.
You can expect a varied range of tasks involving Windows systems, networks, cloud technologies, and IT security. You will be able to apply your technical knowledge and contribute to the further development of the IT environment.
Responsibilities:
Installation, operation, and support of Windows servers and clients as well as user and permission management
Execution of patch management and remediation of security vulnerabilities in IT systems
Support of printers and other IT hardware
Operation and further development of Microsoft cloud, network, and virtualisation solutions
Participation in the evaluation of new technologies and implementation of IT projects
Support of internal users and collaboration with external IT service providers
Qualifications:
Completed training as an IT specialist EFZ, ideally in system engineering or platform development
Professional experience in system operation or IT support
Knowledge in several areas such as Windows Server, Windows Client, VMware, Fortinet, Cisco, or PowerShell
Independent, structured, and responsible working style
Enjoyment of technical challenges and analysing faults
Service orientation and good German language skills in spoken and written form
