The Office for the Enforcement of Sentences (AJUV) is responsible for the administrative and practical enforcement of sentences and measures. For the Health Service, we are looking immediately or by arrangement at the locations Solothurn, Olten, and Deitingen for a Dipl. Nurse HF, 80-90%.
Your responsibilities
- You care for the physically and/or mentally ill inmates of the Solothurn correctional facility in Deitingen and the prisons in Solothurn and Olten and carry out initial assessments on medical questions.
- You can expect a broad general medical spectrum from care of addiction situations through psychiatric and psychosomatic issues to infectious diseases.
- You work interdisciplinarily in close cooperation with internal and external departments.
- With a high degree of personal responsibility, you work in a professional and well-coordinated team.
Your profile
- As a Dipl. Nurse HF, you ideally have several years of professional experience in acute somatic and psychiatric care.
- You are a confident personality with a sense for the right balance between trusting care and necessary boundaries in the relationship with the inmates.
- You bring understanding for the complex field of prison medicine.
- Oral foreign language skills as well as good IT knowledge are desirable.
