We operate a diverse and increasingly digitalised IT and research landscape. To support the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO), we are seeking a technically strong individual who operationally manages the university-wide information security programme, further develops security standards, and supports organisational units in implementing information security requirements.
This position is initially limited to two years.

Your Responsibilities
- Definition of security architecture guidelines and review of security architectures for university-wide applications and research environments
- Support and deputise for the CISO in strategic and organisational matters of information security
- Participation in risk analyses and the definition of appropriate security measures
- Advising project managers, business process owners, and specialist departments on information security requirements
- Supporting organisational units in implementing security requirements in an internal consulting capacity
- Advising IT organisations in preparing threshold analyses, protection requirement analyses, and ISDS concepts
- Assisting with audits, reviews, and governance processes
- Contributing to the development of security policies, security standards, and security processes
Your Profile
- University degree in computer science, business informatics, or comparable qualification
- Several years of practical experience in information security architecture
- In-depth knowledge of common information security standards and frameworks, especially the ICT minimum standard
- Experience with governance, risk, and compliance processes
- Experience in complex, federal IT and organisational structures
- Ability to communicate technical matters appropriately to specialist departments and management
- Independent, structured, and consultancy-oriented working style
- Recognised certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CGEIT advantageous
- Very good German and English skills
