• Ensuring a regulated and high-quality therapy offering in speech therapy
• Continuous development of the therapy offering and implementation of the latest research findings
• Personnel management of the speech therapy department and optimization of collaboration with interdisciplinary projects
• Further development of the internal therapy concept and quality control through weekly patient discussions
• Interface to nursing and other therapy entities as well as development of interdisciplinary collaboration
• Creation of the internal training calendar and quality control of patient documentation
• Professional input into the quality management system
• Proper diagnostics and therapy of speech, language, voice, and swallowing disorders in neurological patients, especially those with tracheal cannulas
• Development, implementation, and evaluation of individual therapy plans to improve swallowing function and communication ability
• Implementation of decannulation measures in close cooperation with doctors, nursing staff, and physiotherapists
• Guidance and advice for patients, relatives, and nursing staff in dealing with tracheal cannulas
• Documentation and evaluation of therapy progress according to clinical standards

• Completed studies in speech therapy (with EDK recognition or willingness to obtain it)
• PhD is an advantage
• Several years of professional experience in speech therapy
• Certified further training in tracheal cannula management
• Experience in rehabilitative therapy and dysphagia and tracheal cannula management
• Scientific work and interest in implementing new research findings
• Enjoy working independently and close to patients in an interprofessional team
• Sense of responsibility, willingness to reflect, as well as high social and communication skills
• Very good oral and written German and English skills
