In this role, you develop and implement innovative IT solutions in the field of Physical AI, Robotics, and Automation within the Industry 4.0 environment. You are responsible for the technical conception, configuration, and integration of robotics systems into existing customer landscapes and ensure their technical feasibility and architecture. You work closely with manufacturers and technology partners to successfully implement innovative and scalable solutions.Technical Sales Physical AI / Robotics
What to expect
- Versatile role with close collaboration with Specialized Sales and Account Management as well as responsibility for analysing customer requirements and developing customised, economically viable robotics and automation solutions
- Supporting the sales team in technical customer meetings, workshops, and webinars (mostly remote) as well as contributing to the preparation of technical offers and the clear communication of complex technical matters
- Responsibility for technical clarifications, configuration, and system integration in customer projects as well as close cooperation with the Business Unit and manufacturers to test new technologies, evaluate their use in customer environments, and develop solution and offer designs
- You will find an innovative environment where you recognise technology trends early, identify innovation potentials for Physical AI, Robotics, and Automation, and continuously develop yourself through ongoing training, certifications, and close collaboration with technology partners
- Conducting internal and external training sessions and ensuring service support extensions while simultaneously identifying new sales opportunities from the existing installed base
- Close cooperation with Sales, Commercial, and other departments as well as high personal responsibility in shaping your area of responsibility within the defined competence and responsibility framework
What you bring
- Completed technical basic training in the relevant field with technical further education and corresponding certifications; a technical university of applied sciences or college education is an advantage
- Good network in the robotics environment as well as several years of practical experience in robotics, automation, or Industry 4.0
- Experience in preparing complex offers as well as in technical customer consulting and conducting workshops, technical presentations, and training sessions
- Confident and efficient handling of IT infrastructures and common business tools such as CRM and ERP systems
- Good knowledge of German and English; French skills are an advantage
- Existing network in the robotics environment is an advantage
- Confident and professional appearance with enjoyment of personal contact with customers and manufacturers as well as strong communication skills
- Analytical and conceptual thinking skills as well as a structured, solution-oriented working style, combined with high personal responsibility, self-motivation, teamwork, passion for technology, innovation, and especially robotics, as well as willingness to travel occasionally (up to 10%)
