Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you have the opportunity to bring your creativity and technical knowledge to the development of new and innovative solutions. You are responsible for developing constructive solutions for new products and for design optimisations in the existing product portfolio. Project and subproject management of small development projects as well as coordination of external design work are also part of your responsibilities.
The working model for the role is: onsite
You are mainly responsible for:
Developing innovative design concepts to solve the given task and collaborating in project and product teams
Manufacturing-oriented design of components in exchange with the relevant departments and proactive implementation of design solutions in cooperation with the product teams
Project and subproject management of small development projects
This position reports to the R&D Manager
Qualifications for the role (mandatory)
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering / Precision Engineering / Mechatronics / Electrical Engineering or a related field.
You have pronounced technical knowledge in the design of plastic components as well as stamped/bent parts and ideally already possess technical knowledge in the area of mechanical and electrical systems of low-voltage products such as circuit breakers
You are comfortable communicating in German and English (spoken and written) and possess strong communication skills.
You have very good skills in using CAD software (preferably Solidworks) as well as very good knowledge and use of Microsoft Office applications (e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project).
You bring a high level of self-motivation, have a quick grasp of things and work result-oriented with a positive attitude
You have at least 3 years of professional experience in the relevant field
Experience and application of project management methods
