About the job

The Hotel Berchtold & B5 is an active and innovative company with various gastronomy venues and a centrally located accommodation. The group includes the 3* Superior Business Hotel Berchtold, the hotel-owned Berchtold Restaurant, the trendy and well-visited bar «B5 to be», the Bistro B5, and the in-house shop B5 to go.

For the leadership of our kitchen team at Hotel Berchtold, we are looking for a creative and proactive leader personality starting in July or by arrangement as:

Head Chef m/f/d 100%

Your main tasks

Ensuring the operational kitchen business under the leadership of the kitchen brigade

Employee management, training and further education of employees and apprentices

Inventory management (goods purchasing, storage, quality assurance)

Overall menu and dish calculation (restaurant & bar as well as bistro, banquets & events)

Participation and support of the operational business, professional preparation of all dishes

Proper storage and hygienic further processing of the goods basket

Compliance with HACCP regulations as well as ongoing process control

Your profile

A successfully completed professional basic training as a cook EFZ, as well as a successfully passed professional examination as head chef

You have already gained leadership experience in a comparable position and have the necessary assertiveness

You have very good German skills, English skills are an advantage

You are an open and proactive personality and are used to working independently and in a structured manner

Your strengths include communication, flexibility, and service-oriented thinking and acting

You are a creative mind and open to new ideas and concepts

Professional appearance and a well-groomed appearance are expected

You are a team player, warm-hearted and conscientious
