What makes you unique

• Degree in agronomy, geography, biology, environmental science or commercial training
• Experience in agriculture or forestry desirable
• Prior knowledge of QGIS
• Structured, goal-oriented working style
• Enjoyment in formulating in German
• Knowledge of two official languages

Agroscope is the federal competence centre for research in agriculture and food. The researchers carry out their activities at various locations in Switzerland. Additional information

The Forage and Grassland Systems group works from the valley to the alpine region for sustainable grassland management. We create knowledge for grassland that provides both high-quality, farm-produced meadow fodder and diverse ecosystem services. To this end, we research site-adapted, efficient management, new artificial meadow mixtures and the management of natural meadows. Knowledge of the ecological processes of meadows and pastures helps to use their resources sustainably and to make grassland fit for current challenges such as climate change.
