Behind our diverse range lies a lot of activity – and of course, the numbers have to add up. That’s why we are looking for you as an accounting clerk who keeps an overview, pays close attention, and has a good nose for the right entries even with many bookings.

Your mission: Master the numbers, keep an eye on processes

In this versatile role, you are an important part of our finance team. You ensure that invoices are processed correctly, payments find their way, and our accounting is reliable and accurate.

You work independently, pragmatically, and with a good eye for detail. Because in accounting, it is often the small things that make the big difference.

Here you can make an impact – your tasks

Debtors & Creditors:

• You independently manage the debtor and creditor accounting.
• You check, record, and post incoming and outgoing invoices.
• You monitor and reconcile open items.
• You handle payment transactions and reconcile incoming and outgoing payments.
• You manage dunning processes and handle outstanding payments.

Accounting & Closing:

• You manage and reconcile the general ledger accounts.
• You assist with monthly and annual financial statements according to Swiss Code of Obligations (OR).
• You prepare and reconcile VAT returns.
• You perform account reconciliations and ensure correct and timely bookkeeping.
• You take on general accounting tasks and clarify accounting issues.

Teamwork & Process Optimisation:

• You work closely with internal departments and external contacts.
• You support the team with ongoing accounting tasks and projects.
• You actively contribute to the optimisation and further development of accounting processes.
• You identify improvement potentials and help make workflows more efficient and digital.

What you bring – your profile:

We are looking for a reliable, meticulous, and pragmatic person who not only likes numbers but also enjoys getting to the bottom of them.

• Education: You have a commercial basic education and ideally further training in accounting, for example as an accounting clerk.
• Experience: You bring 2–4 years of professional experience in accounting, preferably in a trading or wholesale company with an international environment.
• VAT: You have good knowledge of Swiss VAT and are familiar with the relevant accounting processes.
• Numbers person: You work precisely and conscientiously, have a strong understanding of numbers, and quickly recognise discrepancies.
• Working style: You work independently, structured, and reliably. Even when several topics run simultaneously, you keep an overview.
• Hands-on mentality: You take initiative, think along, and independently seek pragmatic solutions.
• Team player: You enjoy working with others and appreciate short communication paths and straightforward communication.
• IT affinity: You have very good MS Office skills, especially in Excel, and are confident with pivot tables. Experience with Infoniqa is an advantage.
• Languages: You have very good German skills. Good English and French skills are an advantage.
