Microsoft Infrastructure & Project Engineer | End-to-End ? (m/f/d)
Responsibilities:
Technical conception, installation and administration of Microsoft server and client environments as well as support of Active Directory, GPO, DNS, DHCP, file and print services and other Windows server roles.
Independent execution of IT infrastructure projects throughout the entire lifecycle with coordination of stakeholders and service providers as well as responsibility for project planning, risks, deadlines, tasks and testing. Regular reporting is made to the Head of IT or the relevant stakeholders.
Operation and further development of the Microsoft platform with Azure, Microsoft 365 and Entra ID, including the advancement of Identity & Access Management.
Structured handling of technical faults and coordination of solution finding with external service providers and technology partners; additionally supporting the first-level support and participating in the regular on-call service.
Ensuring a reliable operational basis through up-to-date technical documentation, operating manuals and standardised work instructions.
Qualifications:
Several years of professional experience in a broadly oriented IT infrastructure or system engineering role with experience in independently implementing and managing IT projects.
Solid know-how in building, configuring and operating Microsoft server and client infrastructures, especially Windows Server, Active Directory, Azure, Microsoft 365 and Entra ID; Linux knowledge is an advantage.
Higher completed education in computer science/system technology or a comparable technical qualification.
Technical basic understanding of networks, DNS, DHCP and virtualisation as well as a structured working method in project and operational environments.
Fluent written and spoken German as well as good technical English skills.
