Dübendorf - In case of on-call duty, you must be able to reach the location within 60 minutes | 80-100% (job sharing possible)

The contribution you can make

• Daily responsibility for system monitoring, initial analysis and coordination of fault rectification for critical infrastructure components
• Ensuring a stable, secure and future-proof operation of existing meteorological and command information systems as well as specifying and configuring infrastructure components
• Continuously optimising operations through professional expertise and preventive measures
• Providing professional advice to internal customers in the analysis and resolution of technical problems
• Representing operational interests throughout the entire project lifecycle
• Willingness to participate in on-call duty on a rotation of approximately 5 weeks (one week each time)

What makes you unique

• Completed vocational training (HF/FH or equivalent); academic degrees up to Master’s welcome
• Several years of practical experience in system operations, ideally with a focus on infrastructure and monitoring
• Solid knowledge in troubleshooting, escalation management and support of information systems
• Ability to work independently, analytical thinking, strong communication skills in customer contact
• English skills for technical documentation are an advantage
