Dübendorf - In case of on-call duty, you must be able to reach the location within 60 minutes | 80-100% (job sharing possible)
The contribution you can make
- Daily responsibility for system monitoring, initial analysis and coordination of fault rectification for critical infrastructure components
- Ensuring a stable, secure and future-proof operation of existing meteorological and command information systems as well as specifying and configuring infrastructure components
- Continuously optimising operations through professional expertise and preventive measures
- Providing professional advice to internal customers in the analysis and resolution of technical problems
- Representing operational interests throughout the entire project lifecycle
- Willingness to participate in on-call duty on a rotation of approximately 5 weeks (one week each time)
What makes you unique
- Completed vocational training (HF/FH or equivalent); academic degrees up to Master’s welcome
- Several years of practical experience in system operations, ideally with a focus on infrastructure and monitoring
- Solid knowledge in troubleshooting, escalation management and support of information systems
- Ability to work independently, analytical thinking, strong communication skills in customer contact
- English skills for technical documentation are an advantage
