Identify, assess and control risks: As a Scientific Employee "Risk Management and Business Continuity Management" at the Bern Cantonal Police, you shape decision-making bases, advise administrative units and actively contribute to the resilience of the Bern Cantonal Police.
Your tasks
- Design, implementation and further development of risk management and business continuity management (BCM) of the Bern Cantonal Police
- Coordination of reporting to the Security Directorate of the Canton of Bern and the Directorate Conference
- Preparation of decision-making bases
- Identification, analysis and assessment of risks
- Examination of interactions and consolidation of inter-cantonal cross-sectional risks
- Management of the risk management tool
- Consulting, support and training of organisational units of the Bern Cantonal Police
- Co-supervision of risk and compliance issues in the corporate governance units of the canton
Your profile
- University or university of applied sciences degree
- Several years of experience in risk management and business continuity management (BCM)
- Very good analytical and conceptual thinking
- Quick comprehension combined with a flair for technology
- Strong team, goal and result orientation
- High resilience and communication skills as well as personal responsibility
- Negotiation skills and assertiveness towards different stakeholders
