Firewall & Network Specialist (m/f/d)
Role:
Technical faults do not resolve themselves; it takes someone with oversight and a steady hand. This is exactly the role you take on as a Firewall & Network Specialist in the daily life of system administrators and users. Between client, server, and network, you ensure stable operations and step in when things get critical. Your experience helps you quickly assess problems and solve them pragmatically.
Responsibilities:
You receive and competently resolve requests from system administrators and end users
You independently configure and maintain clients, servers, networks, and firewalls
You investigate the causes of hardware and software faults
You keep an eye on the network environment and intervene early in case of anomalies
You implement security measures and continuously adapt them to new requirements
Additionally, you maintain the ticketing system and actively contribute to the further development of the infrastructure
Qualifications:
You have completed training as a certified system technician (EFZ) or hold a comparable qualification
You have several years of professional experience in a similar environment
You possess in-depth expertise in system technology
Responsibility and enjoyment in dealing with people characterise your demeanour
Structured, careful working and a strong service orientation come naturally to you
As a reliable, proactive team player, you communicate confidently in German and can also converse in English
