The municipality of Kaiseraugst is a modern service provider for around 5,800 residents. Our administration delivers a wide range of services to the population daily – competently, citizen-oriented, and solution-focused.

To strengthen our team, we are looking for a committed individual to start immediately or by arrangement as Deputy Head of Resident Services (80–100%). In this role, you will support the Head of Resident Services in the professional and organisational management of the department and act as deputy in their absence. Together with the team, you will ensure that our services for the population are delivered efficiently, reliably, and customer-oriented.

Your tasks

• Supporting the Head of Resident Services in the professional and organisational management of the department and deputising for the Head of Resident Services during their absence
• Handling a variety of tasks in the areas of resident registration, funeral services, election office, security duties, and other services
• Participating in operational day-to-day business as well as personal customer contact at the counter and on the phone
• Supporting the assurance of efficient and customer-oriented workflows
• Contributing to the training and supervision of apprentices
• Your profile:
• Commercial training, preferably in public administration
• Further education in public administration / resident services or comparable qualification
• Several years of experience in resident services
• Good IT user skills; experience with CMI, Innosolv, and Abacus is an advantage
• Service-oriented, structured, and team-capable personality with strong communication skills
