Head of Department Vocational Basic Education HWS 80% - 100% (m/f/d)

Your task

You lead and develop the courses at EFZ level in the fields of medicine as well as movement and health. In doing so, you combine pedagogical quality with clear and efficient organisation and actively shape the future of our vocational basic education department.

• You are visible and approachable – in exchange with learners, teachers and partners
• You continuously develop our courses and ensure high teaching quality
• You lead and develop your teaching team pedagogically, professionally and culturally and strengthen a shared attitude
• You optimise workflows and processes and bring structure to everyday school life
• You maintain and expand your network with partner companies, authorities and associations
• You combine your leadership role (80%) with possible teaching activities (up to 20%)
• You take responsibility on site – with presence, energy and decisiveness

Your requirements

• An open, communicative personality with pronounced organisational talent
• Pedagogical qualification at secondary level II (or equivalent)
• Several years of teaching experience at secondary level II, ideally in the health sector
• Leadership experience in the educational environment as well as joy in developing people and teams
• Affinity for digital technologies and modern teaching and learning methods
• High initiative, reliability and presence in everyday life
• Structured, reliable working style as well as decisiveness
