42 voices, a permanent orchestra, an experienced organist and a great enthusiasm for good music.

The current choir director will end his long-standing engagement at the end of January 2027. The position therefore starts from February 2027 or by arrangement.

We are a committed, lively choir with high musical standards. Our focus is on sacred choral music. At the same time, we are open to new ideas, exciting works and secular musical excursions.

• Weekly choir rehearsals and musical direction

What you bring with you

• Training in choir conducting, church music or an equivalent qualification
• Experience with amateur choirs

• Musical ability, leadership skills and enthusiasm
• Desire to shape a common sound from 42 voices

The Catholic Parish of Zug is responsible for the financial, structural and personnel resources related to church life. This includes the parishes St. Michael , Gut Hirt , St. John the Baptist , Bruder Klaus in Oberwil as well as a diaconal office. The parish employs around 70 permanent staff and approximately 200 hourly paid employees.
