About the job
Practical training
In the practical training, you will get to know the various areas of banking as well as the departments of Marketing & Communication, Sales Management & Product Management, IT, and Project & Process Management. You will be supported by experienced practical trainers.
Theoretical training at the vocational school
During your four-year apprenticeship, you will attend the vocational school in Sursee.
Parallel to the training, you can also complete the vocational baccalaureate. The vocational baccalaureate later allows you to enter a further education institution without an entrance examination. For many further education courses, the vocational baccalaureate is even mandatory. However, there is also the possibility to complete the vocational baccalaureate after the regular apprenticeship period.
Industry knowledge/Inter-company courses (ÜK)
The inter-company courses (üK) are a compulsory part of the basic vocational training for all apprentices. They complement the training in the company and at the vocational school and impart practical fundamentals that are important for the profession.
Apprentices "Mediamatician EFZ" attend a total of 5 course modules, each lasting 5 course days.
