About the job
Winterthur-Wülflingen | Start: 1 August 2026 or by arrangement
You don’t just want to organise a school – you want to make a difference in the lives of young people.
With us, you take responsibility for a place where young people develop new perspectives. You lead with clarity, strengthen relationships, and actively shape a school that supports and influences.
This is what you will achieve
You lead our special education secondary location with around 25 to 30 young people in small and very small class settings. In addition, you are responsible for the training of all approximately 4-5 social pedagogues in training within our foundation.
You provide direction, make decisions, and ensure reliability in everyday life.
You lead an interdisciplinary team and develop it both professionally and personally.
You work closely with the overall school management and actively contribute to school development.
You strengthen a pedagogical attitude that provides orientation – based on relationship, clarity, and the New Authority.
This is us
We believe that development becomes possible where people feel seen and supported.
We live trust and hope, community and reliability, appreciation and clear leadership.
Every person is unique – and that is exactly how we treat each other.
This is what sets you apart
You take responsibility and lead by example.
You lead clearly, calmly, and reliably – even in challenging situations.
You understand school as a space for development – for young people as well as for staff.
You think in networks, act in a structured way, and at the same time stay close to people.
You don’t just want to function – you want to shape.
This is what you bring
· Teaching diploma (EDK-recognised) or degree in Social Work FH
· Experience in the school or social pedagogical context
· Leadership experience is an advantage – what matters is your willingness to take responsibility
· Ideally experience in special education
· Practical trainer or willingness to train and further educate yourself in this role
This is what awaits you
· A genuine leadership role with meaning and impact
· Scope for creativity and trust
· Close collaboration with the overall school management
· A committed, supportive team
· A school that lives its values – and does not just talk about them
