BizDevOps Engineer for Real-Time Team with Java, Spring, PostgreSQL (76077)

Task

We are looking for a BizDevOps Engineer for the Real-Time Team with Java, Spring, PostgreSQL for one of our clients. On behalf of the Federal Office of Transport, the SBB, as the system leader in public transport, develops and operates the customer system "CUS" real-time. The system centrally receives, processes, and distributes target and real-time information for the entire public transport network in Switzerland. As a BizDevOps Engineer with a focus on software development, you will strengthen our team and create direct customer value, not only for the SBB but for the entire mobility sector in Switzerland.

The team is responsible for the complete software development process including requirements, business analysis, development, testing, and operation.

This creates a broad and comprehensive range of IT topics and skills, offering a varied field of activity in an agile environment. Your tasks: You work closely with business analysts to understand and implement requirements; you code functional requirements and test software modules to provide high-quality solutions; you are jointly responsible for identifying and fixing errors as well as the continuous improvement of the product and participate in the on-call service.

Requirements

• Current residence in Switzerland, preferably in the Bern area
• Analytical thinking with problem-solving skills
• Very good knowledge of Java
• Very good knowledge of the Spring Framework and Spring Boot
• Experience with PostgreSQL
• Good knowledge of OpenShift and AWS
• Good knowledge in messaging / Kafka
• Experience with GitHub Copilot or other AI tools
• Experience with Angular
• Proven professional experience as a senior software developer
• Enjoyment and interest in working with public transport
• High degree of personal responsibility and initiative
• Experience with agile development methods (SAFe, at team level SCRUM) to ensure goal achievement.
