(Bio-) Chemist as Product Steward (a) in the Field of Oligonucleotide Production (100%)
To drive our continuous organic growth, we are constantly seeking highly qualified professionals. To strengthen our team in the Oligo Production department, we are looking for a committed (Bio-) Chemist as Product Steward (a), 100% to ensure smooth project workflows in the manufacturing area.
Your tasks:
- You are responsible for customer projects related to the (GMP) manufacture of oligonucleotide-based active ingredients, aligning the requirements and interests of customers and internal stakeholders with production capacities
- You accompany projects in CMC management from initial orders to potentially commercial production and identify and manage necessary process adjustments
- Through your coordination and active involvement at interfaces including R&D, Supply Chain, technical authors, QC, and QA, you ensure smooth production according to timelines
- You handle communication with customers, provide updates on ongoing processes, and manage enquiries related to production
- You prepare final reports on manufacturing campaigns and present campaign data clearly
- Furthermore, you process documents such as technical reports, risk analyses, specifications, SOPs, deviations, or CAPAs in collaboration with other departments
Your profile:
- You have a completed university degree as a (Bio-) Chemist, ideally with a doctorate, or a comparable education or professional experience in the pharmaceutical environment
- You have a quick grasp of complex chemical processes and technical contexts and know how to discuss and present these understandably
- You enjoy working at interfaces and demonstrate confident management through a structured working style and high flexibility with changing priorities; rapid familiarisation with new topics, strong punctuality, and independent as well as team-oriented task handling
- Communication and coordination are among your strengths
- You are fluent in German and English
- You have very good command of common MS Office programmes
- You work on tasks in a structured, precise, and responsible manner
- A dynamic (production) environment brings out your flexibility
- Knowledge of oligonucleotide (or peptide) manufacturing and experience in customer contact are advantageous
- Initial professional experience in production or handling production equipment as well as practice in a GMP environment would be desirable
