What makes you unique

• University degree preferably in business administration or equivalent training
• Experience in project management and organisational development
• Strong analytical skills, networked conceptual and innovative thinking
• Very good knowledge of the overall military context and processes in the federal administration, especially the planning processes in the DDPS as well as logistics
• Military training: Officer, preferably staff officer level battalion or brigade/division or staff officer desired
• Active knowledge of a second official language and passive knowledge of a third official language

In a nutshell

Stockpiling ensures that soldiers are sufficiently supplied with fuel, ammunition, spare parts, food and medical material even in crises and conflicts. This increases the operational readiness and endurance of the army. At the same time, adequate stockpiling reduces dependence on short-term resupplies and strengthens the ability to respond in emergencies.
As a core process manager, you lead the army's stockpiling interdisciplinarily and independently within the Army Staff. You ensure that the Army Staff can fulfil its role as the issuing authority in the area of stockpiling. You lead working groups, project teams, participate in international committees and analyse international military and security policy trends.

The Army Staff (A Staff) supports the Chief of the Army in leading the Defence Department and is responsible for the overall military planning and development of the Swiss Army. According to political directives, strategic foundations, force development and army and armament planning are developed here, and tasks in the international security context are undertaken.
