Who are we?

The Swiss Federal Institute for Vocational Education and Training EHB is the Swiss centre of expertise for vocational education and training. We train and further educate those responsible for vocational education, research vocational education, develop professions, and support international vocational education cooperation. Our locations are in Zollikofen near Bern (headquarters), Lausanne and Lugano, with external sites in Olten and Zurich.

For the Teaching Division in Zollikofen we are looking for a

Lecturer 50%

for vocational pedagogy and didactics in the certificate courses for teachers of vocational subjects, lecturers at higher technical colleges, and trainers in inter-company centres, workshops or training workshops.

Your area of responsibility

• Conducting teaching sessions in vocational pedagogy and didactics
• Supporting and coaching students in training and teaching activities
• Designing and assessing performance and competency evidence
• Participating in development work and taking on projects
• Maintaining contact with interest and target groups

Your profile

• University degree or equivalent in educational sciences or psychology
• Teaching diploma Primary/Secondary I/Secondary II or SVEB Level 2/3 lecturer
• Teaching or training experience at secondary level II
• Experience in the training or further education of teachers or vocational trainers
• Desirable: Further training in personality, training, coaching
• Digitally "fit" and experienced in media didactics
• Convincing presence, strong relationship orientation and interaction skills
• Open to new ideas, creative, eager to learn and design
• High commitment and resilience
