Attached to the Vaud Judicial Order, the four bankruptcy offices of the canton have the primary mission of administering and ensuring liquidation by bankruptcy.
To strengthen the existing team, the Bankruptcy Office of the Lausanne district, which employs nearly 20 clerks, is looking for a Bankruptcy Office Clerk.
Responsibilities
- Welcome users at the counter, guide them and provide information on the bankruptcy procedure.
- Collaborate in the administrative management of a sector.
- Manage simple files with the support of a bailiff if necessary.
- Conduct hearings of bankrupt individuals.
- Participate in the realisation and distribution of funds.
- Respond to information requests in assigned areas, at the counter and by phone.
- Participate in the training of apprentices.

Qualifications
- Federal Certificate of Vocational Education and Training (CFC) as a commercial employee completed in a debt collection or bankruptcy office, or in another field, ideally complemented by 4 years of professional experience in debt collection or bankruptcy.
- Organisational and communication skills.
- Good stress resistance and ability to communicate in difficult contexts.
- Flexibility, speed and accuracy.
- Mastery of spelling and ease with common IT tools.
Many opportunities for professional development and continuing education exist within the Debt Collection and Bankruptcy Offices.
As part of the recruitment process, candidates will be required to present an extract from the debt collection register and criminal record less than 3 months old.
An appointment at a lower salary level is possible if the duration of experience in debt collection or bankruptcy is insufficient at the time of hiring.
