Client Engineer (m/f/d)

Role:
The demands on modern corporate workplaces are increasing: devices must function reliably, security policies must be consistently implemented, and administrative processes intelligently automated. For this challenge, an endpoint specialist is sought who combines technical know-how with a strong understanding of IT security and efficient system management.
Responsibilities:
Design and further development of a standardised Windows endpoint architecture
Management and optimisation of end devices via Microsoft Intune and modern cloud management platforms
Implementation of automated device deployments with Windows Autopilot
Development and maintenance of configuration profiles, compliance rules and security policies
Integration of Microsoft Defender for Endpoint and other endpoint security features
Implementation of zero-trust concepts as well as risk-based access controls
Automation of client processes, software distribution and system configurations with PowerShell
Analysis of security events, configuration issues and technical faults
Optimisation of patch management, update rollouts and lifecycle processes
Further development of standards for device security, user-friendliness and operational efficiency
Qualifications:
Experience in endpoint management, client engineering or Microsoft system administration
Good knowledge of Windows 10/11 and Microsoft Intune
Practical knowledge of Microsoft Defender, endpoint security or comparable security solutions
Experience with Windows Autopilot, software distribution and automated device deployment
Knowledge of PowerShell to optimise administrative processes
Basic understanding of identity management, conditional access and modern authentication
Analytical thinking, high technical diligence and a solution-oriented working style
Motivation to question existing concepts and implement modern security standards
