Our social counselling is part of this social responsibility. It supports employees with and without disabilities in professional, financial, legal and personal matters. To complement our team, we are looking for a committed and solution-oriented personality as a Social Advisor for our VEBO location in Breitenbach.
This is what your new working day with us looks like
- Planning and conducting initial interviews with disability insurance recipients and support during trial periods in the departments
- Coordination, triage and networking with specialist offices, authorities, municipalities, relatives, legal representatives and internal departments
- Advice and support for employees with disabilities on social, financial, legal, professional and personal issues
- Support for managers and employees in dealing with social issues, prevention, conflicts and stressful situations
- Professional documentation of consultations in compliance with data protection and confidentiality
- Participation in working and project groups as well as involvement in the further development of concepts, professional standards and internal processes
What we expect from you
- Degree in Social Work from a University of Applied Sciences
- Very good knowledge of Swiss social insurances, especially disability insurance and supplementary benefits
- Experience in advising and supporting people in challenging life situations
- Interest in operational, social and educational issues in the context of people with disabilities
- Solution-oriented, empathetic and discreet personality with a high degree of personal responsibility
- Strong ability for interdisciplinary collaboration and networking
- Good organisational and administrative skills, confident expression and good MS Office knowledge
