ICT System Specialist Microsoft Identity Services (m/f/d) | Entra ID | Active Directory | PowerShell

For a client in the cantonal or public sector in Chur, we are looking for an experienced individual to support operational activities and the further development of a hybrid Microsoft Identity environment.
In this role, you will take on operational and engineering tasks related to Microsoft Entra ID and Active Directory. You will assist in the remediation of technical legacy issues, the modernisation of central identity services, and the integration of specialist applications with modern authentication and authorisation solutions.

Responsibilities:
• Taking on operational and engineering tasks for Microsoft Entra ID and Active Directory
• Analysing, remediating, and sustainably reducing existing technical legacy issues in the identity environment
• Collaborating on the further development and modernisation of central identity and authentication services
• Connecting and integrating specialist applications to Microsoft Entra ID as an identity provider
• Identifying security risks and misconfigurations and supporting their resolution
• Collaborating on the further development and implementation of security standards and best practices
• Standardising and improving the identity architecture and associated operational processes
• Using PowerShell for operational and administrative tasks
• Documenting existing configurations, operational processes, and implemented solutions

Experience:
• Completed IT training and several years of experience in the Microsoft identity environment
• Profound knowledge of Microsoft Entra ID and Active Directory
• Experience in user and permission management
• Experience in connecting and integrating specialist applications to a Microsoft identity provider
• Knowledge of modern authentication and authorisation methods such as SSO, SAML, OAuth, and OpenID Connect
• Experience in identifying security risks, misconfigurations, and technical legacy issues
• PowerShell skills for implementing operational and administrative tasks
• Ability to systematically analyse, document, and continuously improve existing solutions
• Structured, reliable, and service-oriented working style
• Team player with good communication skills
