Your Tasks
- As a senior physician, you lead the outpatient clinic of adult psychiatry in close collaboration with the team’s management members and are responsible for the professional and organisational direction.
- As a member of our interdisciplinary treatment team, you undertake psychiatric and psychotherapeutic assessments, treatments and consultations for patients and their relatives.
- Within your senior physician role, you supervise assistant physicians as well as psychologists and support them in their professional development.
- With the support of the secretariat, you take on duty planning and participate occasionally with your team in the consultation and liaison service in the hospitals.
- Your varied daily work includes reports, case discussions and training sessions as well as active involvement in internal continuing education and training.
- As a member of the management team at the Sargans location, you contribute your expertise and ideas to the further development of the department and the site and actively shape their future direction.
Your Profile
- You are a specialist in psychiatry and psychotherapy, providing the professional foundation for the demanding work in the outpatient sector.
- Leadership experience is an advantage and supports you in taking responsibility within the interdisciplinary team and actively contributing to the further development of the work area.
- You hold a professional practice licence from the canton of St.Gallen or meet the requirements to obtain it before starting the position.
- Interest in outpatient and interdisciplinary treatment as well as a consistent focus on the needs of patients and relatives characterise your working style.
- Regular professional development and treatment based on current scientific findings and guidelines are important to you and form part of your professional self-concept.
- Commitment, enjoyment in contact with patients, team spirit, sociability and a good sense of humour complete your profile.
