The Child and Adult Protection Authorities (KESB) ensure the welfare and protection of people in need. For the KESB Region Solothurn we are looking for a Caseworker, 80% at the Solothurn location starting 01.01.2027 or by agreement.
Your responsibilities
- As an employee of the KESB office, you handle all administrative tasks that arise.
- You manage the files, ensure their completeness, maintain the archive, and support the office management in planning KESB meetings.
- Furthermore, you independently prepare cases and orders under the direction of the office management, handle correspondence, monitor case progress, and ensure the proper provision of administrative structures.
- Your deputy duties include counter and telephone service as well as mail dispatch.
Your profile
- You have a commercial apprenticeship or an equivalent qualification.
- Ideally, you have professional experience in child and adult protection, knowledge of civil procedural or administrative law processes, and administrative experience.
- A proficient use of IT resources is expected.
- You are a resilient, performance-oriented, and honest individual with high social competence.
