Virtual workplaces are long since more than a makeshift solution; they are the core of modern IT. This is exactly where you come in as a Citrix System Engineer, bringing together desktop virtualisation, Microsoft 365 (M365), and cloud platforms. You accompany technically demanding customer projects from the idea to stable operation. Defining and further developing your own standards is explicitly part of the role.
Responsibilities:
You develop virtual desktop platforms further and ensure reliable operation.
In addition, you define new product standards oriented to real customer needs.
You implement cloud and multicloud projects on a technical level.
In the event of complex faults, you take on in-depth analysis in 3rd level support.
Furthermore, you provide professional support to the technical project management.
You also keep architectures well documented and up to date.
Qualifications:
You have completed an IT-related education or acquired equivalent knowledge in practice.
You are familiar with virtualisation and backup technologies.
You move confidently in cloud desktop environments and know their pitfalls.
You bring sound knowledge of Windows Server, client operating systems, as well as Active Directory including group policies.
Furthermore, you feel at home in Microsoft 365 (M365) and cloud platforms from multiple providers.
Additionally, you tackle topics independently, think analytically, and communicate fluently in German both orally and in writing; you use English effortlessly in everyday work.
