Specialist for Records Management and GEVER (70-100 %)
Your tasks
- As a member of the specialist unit, you are responsible for the further development and operation of GEVER and records management in the city administration.
- You advise and support the organisational units of the city administration in legally compliant file management and document administration.
- You develop, maintain, and optimise guidelines, standards, and processes in the field of information and records management and implement them.
- You plan and conduct training sessions and support employees with professional and system-related questions.
- You participate in organisational and digitalisation projects and coordinate collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
- You independently lead smaller projects to introduce and implement new requirements, such as the principle of public access where applicable, and develop the necessary processes and working tools for this.
Your profile
- You have completed vocational training (EFZ) with advanced professional education or a Bachelor’s degree focusing on information management, archival science, administrative management, or a related field, as well as relevant professional experience.
- You bring experience in records management and ideally in the use and further development of GEVER systems.
- You are familiar with the legal foundations of file management and the principle of public access or are willing to acquire this knowledge quickly.
- You have experience in leading smaller projects and in analysing, defining, and optimising business processes or are willing to acquire these skills quickly.
- You like to take responsibility, work independently, and are resilient in a dynamic work environment.
- You have good communication skills, enjoy networking, and have a confident demeanour.
The City Chancellery provides services as a staff unit for the City Council, the city administration, and the City Parliament. It supports the City Council in fulfilling its leadership tasks both operationally and strategically and coordinates and manages the affairs and meetings of the City Council. The telephone switchboard including reception at the main entrance of the Town Hall is part of the City Chancellery. It often represents the city administration as the first point of contact.
