Welcome to the schools of the city of Schaffhausen!
In the beautiful Munot city on the Rhine, around 3700 pupils are taught in 13 school buildings and 38 kindergarten groups. From the small village school to the large urban campus, there is certainly something suitable for you.

Class teacher at primary level (2nd to 6th grade) "Introductory Class for Non-Native Speakers" (EfF), 80 - 100% workload (Steingut School Unit)
We expect from you
- Completed teaching diploma with DaZ in the profile (or willingness to obtain the additional qualification at PHSH: studies start August 2026)
- Experience with AdL teaching (age-mixed learning) is an advantage
- Enjoyment in working with non-native speaking children and young people
- Empathy to teach children with sometimes difficult (flight) biographies
- Communicative and motivated personality
- Willingness to actively help shape the school
- Team spirit and collegiality (willingness for team teaching)
You are a lively, talented teacher who is also interested in school development and team-building processes beyond teaching activities. With your commitment, you contribute significantly to shaping the future of our schoolchildren.
The Introductory Classes for Non-Native Speakers (EfF) are the first school contact point for children and young people at primary level who speak little or no German. The focus of teaching is on German, but also on mathematics, English and physical education.
