Wohlen is conveniently accessible from Bern by post bus. If you like nature and sports, you can take your bicycle. A beautiful cycle path, for example, leads from Länggasse to Lake Wohlen and to Wohlen. The village can be reached from Bern main station by post bus every half hour.
Our school building is centrally located in the village with an exceptionally beautiful view of the lake and the Alpine range.
We run the school entry level in 4 basic stages, and the following school years in two mixed-age classes each. We place great value on the social competence of our pupils. Conflicts are opportunities for us to prepare children for life. Diversity gives us colour. We experience nature up close with the children.

Tasks
Children with support needs from 3rd/4th grade (8 lessons) and 5th/6th grade (9 lessons) find an optimal and relaxed setting with you.
You work with the children individually or in groups, usually integratively in the class, and build a trusting relationship.
You work closely with the class teachers, write support and education plans if needed, and are the contact person for the parents of the children assigned to you with support needs.
It is also possible to apply for only one of the two classes.
Requirements
Your working days can be chosen in consultation with the teachers (the timetable still needs some adjustment). You have a recognised qualification in the field of school special education or are in training for it. If possible, you have experience teaching primary school children.
You enjoy working with regular school teachers and the school’s special subject teachers.
You are an upbeat personality, a cheerful nature, and yet a serious approach to work is important to you.
