The Office World Group is a leading provider of office supplies and technology in Switzerland. With our specialised brands, we offer an extremely broad product range and numerous services related to the office, as well as customised solutions for various trade levels. We serve both corporate and private customers and operate our own branches throughout Switzerland, various online shops, and several office and warehouse locations in the German-speaking part of Switzerland. We employ around 400 staff and, as a Swiss company, belong to the Austrian MTH Retail Group.
Your tasks
- Support and further development of the centrally used application landscape with a focus on ERP, EDI and eCommerce
- Ensuring stable and reliable system operation including maintenance, releases and updates
- Analysis of requirements and problems as well as development and implementation of suitable solutions
- Participation in IT projects in the ERP, EDI and eCommerce environment
- Coordination and collaboration with internal specialist departments, external partners and software providers
- Implementation and support of changes, interfaces and system integrations in the ERP, EDI and eCommerce environment
- Second-level support for the supported applications as well as assistance to superiors with technical queries
- Documentation and quality assurance, including maintenance of technical documentation, creation of user guides and test cases
Your profile
- Training in the field of computer science as well as experience in requirements engineering, application management or a comparable function
- Good knowledge of SQL/PLSQL and ideally experience with Oracle APEX (HTML, CSS, JS, JQuery)
- Knowledge in the EDI environment and in integration or interface topics
- General knowledge of modern and complex system architectures and languages (including Docker, Python, RabbitMQ)
- Experience in requirements engineering based on business process knowledge in a trade and logistics company
- Independent, structured and solution-oriented working style
- Enjoyment of collaboration with specialist departments, external partners and IT teams
- Willingness to continuously develop
