Business Engineer Smart Metering & Applications

• You actively participate in digitalisation and transformation projects in the field of smart metering, energy data management, and workforce management, and drive the automation of business processes forward.
• As a Business Engineer, you analyse requirements, advise on best practices, and design efficient end-to-end processes across multiple systems.
• You conceive, implement, and support solutions for data, process, and system landscapes up to successful deployment, focusing on master, meter, and measurement data processes.
• Together with specialist departments and IT, you further develop our business applications and support extensions, optimisations, and new solutions.
• As a key user, you ensure stable operations, high data quality, and reliable 2nd-level support, empower power users, and coordinate incidents and changes.

• You have a higher education (HF, FH, ETH or university) in computer science, business informatics, business administration, or a comparable field.
• You have already gained experience in business or requirements engineering, in the further development of business applications, as well as in the analysis and optimisation of end-to-end processes.
• Strong analytical skills characterise you and help you recognise connections between data and processes; knowledge of SQL, data warehouse, BI or analytics is an advantage.
• Ideally, you are familiar with SAP (e.g. IS-U, BW, MM, WM) or comparable enterprise applications and have already gained experience in smart metering, energy data management, or the energy industry.
• You work in a structured, proactive, and solution-oriented manner and develop sustainable solutions for professional requirements together with the specialist departments.
