SENIOR IT PROJECT MANAGER

• Leading and managing complex, cross-departmental IT projects from initiation to successful go-live
• Responsibility for time, costs, resources, quality and risks as well as transparent reporting to decision-making bodies
• Application of classical and agile project management methods (e.g. HERMES, Scrum, Kanban)
• Analysing and specifying requirements together with specialist departments, IT and external partners
• Developing and implementing future-oriented solutions in the field of digitalisation
• Participating in projects related to modern workplace solutions, cloud platforms, data and automation
• Planning and supporting public procurements and tenders (Simap)
• Leading interdisciplinary project teams and actively collaborating with internal and external stakeholders
• Shaping and further developing methods, standards and processes in project management

What you bring to the role

• Completed studies in computer science, business informatics, business administration or comparable higher professional education
• Several years of experience in managing complex IT projects
• Project management certification (e.g. HERMES Advanced, IPMA Level C, PMP or PRINCE2 Practitioner) or willingness to undertake corresponding further training
• Broad IT understanding in the areas of cloud, M365, IT infrastructure and security
• Advantageous: experience or solid knowledge in public procurement (Simap) as well as in the SAP S/4HANA environment
• Independent, proactive and responsible personality with a pragmatic working style
• Team-oriented, communicative and convincing personality with high social competence
• Interest in new technologies, modern methods and digital transformation
• Confident German and good English skills
