The Child and Adult Protection Authorities (KESB) ensure the welfare and protection of vulnerable people. For the Child and Adult Protection Authority (KESB) Region Solothurn, we are seeking a Specialist Secretary KESB, 80% from 01.01.2027 or by arrangement at the Solothurn location.
Your responsibilities
- You professionally, organisationally and personally lead the KESB office. You are responsible for the entire meeting organisation and ensure administrative support for the KESB.
- You receive applications and reports, open cases and files, are responsible for the completeness of the records, and bring the KESB files to attention.
- You are responsible for the administrative file management as well as data maintenance in the client management system KESBweb.
- You set the agenda for decisions ready for resolution, take the minutes at meetings and hearings, and independently draft orders.
- You are responsible for the necessary structures and also conduct proper business control. In addition, you answer complex enquiries and correspondence.
Your profile
- You have a commercial apprenticeship or an equivalent qualification.
- Professional experience, preferably in child and adult protection, public administration, a court, or a law firm, is an advantage.
- A confident use of IT resources is natural for you.
- You are a balanced, open person with high social competence and empathy for people in difficult life situations.
- You are open to change and new things. Besides your quick comprehension, you work precisely and reliably.
