The Golden Path team at AXA Switzerland, consisting of 4 Platform Engineers, is building the next iteration of our Internal Developer Platform - standardised, highly automated development platforms and tools that enable our approximately 400 developers in around 50 dev teams to achieve maximum speed with minimal friction.

In the Data, Technology & Innovation division, around 600 software and system developers work across Switzerland to develop tomorrow's technology in-house. We also collaborate in global teams and networks.
We shape and integrate the latest tools, organise hackathons, and our agile product teams operate self-organised and are fully responsible from A to Z.

What to expect

• Simplification and integration of new and existing DevOps tools and processes
• Close collaboration with product teams to increase the automation and security of their software products
• Introduction and dissemination of best practices for DevOps within the development organisation together with our DevOps teams and the DevOps chapter
• Maintenance of our Secure-SDLC tool stacks
• Integration of AI capabilities into the SDLC processes of AXA Switzerland
• Ensuring that the entire stack meets our security and compliance requirements
• Collaboration with cloud providers and our global IT service provider AXA Group Operations to integrate their solutions into our platform and provide feedback
• Mentoring junior team members

What you bring

• You have several years of experience in software development and operation, preferably with a degree in computer science
• You are familiar with CI/CD practices and tools such as Infrastructure as Code, Blue/Green deployments, feature flags and GitHub Actions
• You have a strong motivation to learn new things and to further develop your skills and the team
• You possess an inherent drive for automation and strive for technical excellence
• You use AI in your professional daily work and may have also developed autonomous AI agents
• You are willing to operate critical infrastructure and occasionally perform on-call duties
• You are motivated to work in a globally networked team
• You act as a committed and visionary team player who is able to collaborate and prioritise in a complex environment
• You speak fluent German and English
