Abacus Consultant Finance (m/f/d)
Role:
You combine business management expertise with digital transformation and want to make financial processes more efficient? In this role, you optimise ERP solutions, develop smart workflows, and accompany companies on their journey to a modern, data-driven finance organisation.
Responsibilities:
Analysis and optimisation of digital financial processes within complex ERP landscapes
Design and further development of financial solutions based on Abacus
Consulting departments on the digitalisation of accounting, cost accounting, and financial reporting
Implementation of customer-specific requirements through configuration, parameterisation, and process design
Support of ERP implementations, system expansions, and migrations from requirements analysis to go-live
Development of efficient workflows to automate recurring financial processes
Support in the integration of interfaces, upstream systems, and reporting solutions
Conducting workshops, training sessions, and professional reviews
Analysis and resolution of complex application issues as well as ensuring high data quality
Active shaping of modern ERP architectures and continuous process improvements
Qualifications:
Solid experience with Abacus in the finance sector or ERP consulting
Good knowledge of financial accounting, accounts receivable and payable management, or cost accounting
Experience in analysing and optimising business processes
Understanding of ERP interfaces, data flows, and cross-system integrations
Ideally experience with digital workflows, automated booking processes, and BI reporting
Analytical thinking, structured working style, and strong consulting skills
Ability to translate technical possibilities into practical solutions for specialist departments
